Trooper Updates

The following free update is available for users of Trooper 2.0 only. If you have Trooper 1.0 please click here. Please read our list of Frequently Asked Questions about downloading updates before downloading.

Trooper 2.04 Update

We have released Trooper version 2.04.

The above are links to the same self-extracting executable file (851k). If prompted by your browser, choose to save the file to a location on your hard drive. To install, first rename your existing Trooper.exe file to Trooper.bak (just in case). When you execute this file you will be prompted for a destination directory. Choose the folder where you installed Trooper. This update will overwrite your existing Trooper.exe, Trooper.hlp, and Readme.txt files.

If you encounter trouble downloading the file, please contact Technical Support and we will e-mail the file to you.

Revision History

All updates are cumulative, so you only need to apply the latest update.

Trooper 2.04 - 3/2/01

Problems fixed:

• Corrected output of phone numbers on Emergency Contacts report
• Assisted Digital Metaphors with fixing a bug in the report engine that could occur when printing only selected pages of a report
• Fixed error messages produced under certain circumstances when updating grade levels and Boys' Life subscription data
• Minor cosmetic updates to the Personal Records report

Trooper 2.03 - 5/12/00

Problems fixed:

• On the Medical tab, the Asthma checkbox displayed an incorrect value
• Fixed a problem with the rank selection on the User Defined Qualifications report

Trooper 2.02 - 4/16/00

Problems fixed:

• Fixed a problem adding a rank to multiple Scouts at once
• Fixed/added a popup calendar to all date fields that appears when double-clicking the field
• Minor cosmetic fixes
• Minor updates to the help file

Trooper 2.01 - 4/2/00

Problems fixed:

• Fixed a subtotal calculation on the Attendance At An Event, By Patrol report

New features:

• Included a new revision of the report engine
• Reduced the EXE file size by about 13% (105k)
• The installation software now fits on four disks
